WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Our digital assets use cookies to distinguish you from other users. This helps us to provide you with a good experience when you use our digital assets and also allows us to improve it. Every time you log in, your IP (Internet Protocol) address registers on our servers. We do not use this technology to get any personal information against your knowledge or free will. Nor do we use it for any purpose other than to help us monitor traffic or, in the case of possible criminal activity or misuse of our information, to cooperate with law enforcement agencies.

A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your device’s hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added, and the cookie helps analyze traffic or personalize your experience. Cookies allow web and mobile applications to respond to you as an individual. The website or application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences.

Cookies may collect certain information (which depending on relevant applicable data protection laws may constitute personal information) about you, such as information about your visit, your country, language and other settings. Cookies allow us to understand how users interact with our digital assets, to understand the sections of our digital assets visited and advertisements that users may have seen, to determine how frequently particular pages or section of our digital assets are visited and to determine the most popular areas of our digital assets. They can also help us to operate the digital assets more efficiently and make your next visit easier. We may use cookies for a variety of purposes, including to help us obtain information about why you interact with our digital assets, process your orders, analyze the use patterns of our digital assets, to improve how the service can be accessed and provide information, deliver advertising, communications, and content from us specific to your interests as indicated by your use, remember your language and other preferences when using our digital assets, help you obtain information you are looking for within our digital assets, allow for easier product or service registration or warranty notification purposes.

WHAT COOKIES WE USE?

We use two main categories of cookies: (1) strictly necessary cookies; and (2) optional cookies:

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are set by us or a third party on our behalf and are essential to enable you to use the features of our digital assets. They are usually set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services, such as technically delivering content, setting your privacy preferences, logging in, or filling in forms. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but some parts of the digital assets may not work or may have reduced functionality.

  • Optional Cookies

Optional cookies may be 'first party cookies' or 'third party cookies' as explained in the table below. Optional cookies also differ depending on the purpose they are used for, as explained in the first column.

The table in the section below explains the cookies we use and why.

Optional Cookie Type

Purposes

Performance Cookies

These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our digital assets. They help us to know which pages or sections are the most and least popular and see how visitors move around our digital assets. If you do not allow these cookies we will not know when you interact with the service and will not be able to monitor its performance.

Functional Cookies

These cookies enable the website to provide enhanced functionality and personalisation. They may be set by us or by third party providers whose services we have added to our pages. If you do not allow these cookies, then some or all of these services may not function properly.

Analytical Cookies

These cookies calculate visitor, session and campaign data and track digital asset usage for analytics report; in addition to ensuring data from subsequent visits to the same site is attributed to the same user ID. The cookie stores information anonymously and assigns a randomly generated number to recognise unique visitors. The cookies also store information on how visitors use the website while also creating an analytics report of the website's performance. Some of the collected data includes the number of visitors, their source, and the pages they visit anonymously.

Targeting / Advertising Cookies

These cookies may be set through our digital assets by us or our advertising partners. They may be used to present you with personalised advertising based on your browsing and to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant adverts on other sites or applications. They do not store personal information but are based on uniquely identifying your browser and internet device. If you do not allow these cookies, you will experience less targeted advertising.

We use the following cookies: session cookies, which are temporary cookies that are erased from your device’s memory when you close your internet browser or turn your off your device, persistent cookies, which exist on your hard drive until they expire, unless you delete them at an earlier time, and traffic log cookies to identify which web / app pages are being used. This helps us analyze data about traffic and improve our digital assets in order to tailor it to customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system.

Please note that third parties (including, for example, advertising networks and providers of services like web traffic analysis services) may also use cookies. We do not control the information that may be collected by such third parties.

Below is a list of the cookies and related technologies set on this digital asset and the purpose of each:
