SCHAFFHAUSEN, Switzerland - Solenis, a leading global producer of specialty chemicals, will increase prices on all Basoplast<sup>TM</sup> surface sizing products by up to 10% across the EMEA region, effective May 1, 2019 or as customer contracts allow. The price increase is necessary due to the shortage of potato starch in Europe, in addition to, the shortage and increased prices of other key raw materials.
