Our employees are the best judge of how we’re doing against our cultural aspirations. Through our annual culture survey, we ask employees for feedback; more than 75 percent regularly participate, then we listen and take action. Hundreds of Solenis managers around the world create action plans to ensure we act on the feedback provided. And, in every year since 2014, our employees have told us that we’ve improved over the previous year.
Our Performance Development & Rewards (PD&R) program is designed to foster open, ongoing communication between employees and managers regarding individual performance and development. This comprehensive approach to goal setting starts with business unit team-based objectives that align with the company's growth, and then cascades to individual goals. The process encompasses annual goal setting, ongoing feedback, and year-end performance reviews. The multidimensional performance appraisal covers goals in three areas: Business Accountabilities, Behaviors and Development, and People Management (when applicable), along with stakeholder feedback.
