Diversey, Inc., a global leader in healthcare and infection prevention solutions, announced it has received approval from Health Canada to add several more disinfection claims to Oxivir Tb and expand its use through spray applications Spray applications include both low pressure and electrostatic spray applications.
Oxivir Tb is effective against a broad spectrum of pathogens commonly found on surfaces and implicated in infections, including human coronavirus, influenza, MRSA, and small, non-enveloped viruses, such as norovirus and rhinovirus in just 1 minute. This product is also on Health Canada’s Disinfectants for Use Against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) list with a contact time of 1 minute.
The new claims include bactericidal and virucidal efficacy against fifteen pathogens of concern in hard surface or germicidal spray applications.
Oxivir Tb RTU used in a spray application is effective against bacteria and viruses listed on the label in 1 minute and fungi in just 3 minutes. When using the product, it is important to reference the SDS and follow the updated use instructions.
Oxivir® Tb disinfectant cleaner, powered Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide® technology, is fast and effective, helping streamline operations and speed turnover.
Offered in a variety of sizes and formats, including quarts, gallons, and new bulk 5-gallon and 55-gallon drums, Oxivir Tb is non-irritating to eyes, skin and respiratory tracts, creating a pleasant experience for staff and patrons. It is also compatible with most common surfaces and equipment.
